Gratitude-Mindfulness-Nervous System-Affirmations

I am delighted to introduce this month’s topic to help you reconnect within but more importantly, begin to create daily practices that are simple and effective, in the hopes they will become part of your normal habits and routines every week.  I chose 4 elements: Gratitude; Mindfulness; The Nervous System; and Affirmations as focusing on and learning more about these will help to rebalance you and can be used as often as you like.  They are gentle practices and this month will be exactly that ~ gentle and nurturing.  I am excited to get started.  We will cover one topic per week over the next 4 weeks and it feels like a lovely energy to cover these gentle practices in the space of a month.  It will keep things fresh and engaging.

This month I will support you to ~

See the good in life through Gratitude ~ How to be thankful for the many wonderful things you experience daily and to see the greatness within yourself.

Create gentle practices through Mindfulness, that are quick but will be very effective in rebalancing and destressing.

Understand your Nervous System and how being in fight or flight mode effects your body and your hormones and learn to to move into a parasympathetic space more often, which is calming and balanced.

Discover Affirmations and Mantras that are powerful words to help you each and every day.  Learn how to create your own and bring them into your daily practice.

Last month we set a goal for ourselves to aim to achieve over the 30 day period.  It was great hearing how you had got on and even if you didn’t fully achieve your goal so many of you made great headway and that is wonderful.  It was suggested in the WhatsApp Group that we do one each month and I think that is a wonderful idea.  What goal will you set for yourself this month?  Let me know what you chose and best of luck!

This month you can do this ritual every morning when you wake up and sitting at the edge of your bed before you begin your day.

Creating an evening ritual is the perfect way to let go of the day and stresses that may have occurred. This ritual will specifically help you to release negative and stuck thoughts so that you can finish your day lighter and ready for a good night’s sleep and rest.

This month you can do this ritual before you go to sleep, sitting at the edge of your bed.
