I feel this is a topic that all of us can benefit from.  We spend so much time putting ourselves down, not feeling good enough, blaming ourselves for not “doing better” and on top of that putting ourselves under pressure to do it all and have it all.  Now is the time to STOP, take a moment to breathe and refresh our body, mind and soul.  Self-compassion is a key element of helping us to do just that.

This month I want to create a gentle space for you to feel really supported and nurtured.  It will be a month with gentle meditations, relaxing practices, upleveling our awareness through journaling and learning how to be compassionate and kind to ourselves.

I don’t want this to be something that we all do just for this month.  My hope for this month is to help you build strong foundations of self-compassion that will stay with you for the rest of your life.

Recently, I have been learning that whilst I thought I was compassionate towards myself; that I was not. So no matter where you are with your own self-compassion there is always room for even more and I hope this month helps you to move in the direction of kindness, respect and love for yourself.

*I would recommend that you get a notebook for this month to keep note of your thoughts and feelings.*

Put your hands on the center of your chest, over your heart, and take 5 deep breaths in and out.

Ask yourself ‘What would I like to feel this month?’ in relation to self-compassion. Listen to what your inner voice is saying.

Keep this in mind as you move though each week.
